The Aurora University Choirs and the Fox Valley Orchestra and Chorus featuring Antonín Dvořák’s Te Deum

Join us for a dramatic finish to the Aurora University concert season. The first half of the concert will feature the AU choirs and the second half will feature the annual collaboration with the Fox Valley Orchestra and Chorus, this year performing Antonín Dvořák’s powerful Te Deum. The work was composed in under a month during 1892 in New York on a commission from the National Conservatory, in which Dvořák was about to join as director. The work features chorus, full orchestra and soprano and baritone soloists.
