Join Aurora University alumnus Reverend Dr. Marvin A. McMickle, BA ’70, HON ’91, as he celebrates the work of Martin Luther King Jr. and addresses the responsibility we have to serve the present generation through similar acts of courage. McMickle, the president of the Colgate Rochester Crozer Divinity School, has been honored for his commitment to the cause of social justice and the betterment of the human condition both in Cleveland, Ohio, and Montclair, N.J. (where he also served as pastor) and for his work with the NAACP, the Shaker Heights School Board and the Urban League. He was recently awarded the Distinguished Alumnus Award by the Princeton Theological Seminary Alumni Council. The Aurora University Music Department will perform prior to McMickle’s presentation.

An alumni reception with Dr. McMickle will be held immediately following the presentation.
